Apache Solr is a search application based on Apache Lucene, Solr is highly reliable, scalable and fault tolerant, providing distributed indexing, replication and load-balanced querying, automated failover and recovery, centralized configuration and more.

Laravel is powerful PHP framework, it could be pretty easy to build a site using it. I’m going to give you some very short steps to install a new Laravel project, this guide is focused on a Ubuntu environment but it could be useful to other operating systems.

Sometimes we have to resolve a specific functionality in our projects. This blog was created in respond to this problem of custom fields. The following part describes the main aspects of a custom field and shows the code.
